Since 1998

Anne Levenez leaves the education sector in 1997, she was a german teacher and fine art painter. Then she created the Villa Elaia and its painting gallery amongst hundred years old olive trees.

Pierre Schneider then a civil engineer came to join her finely in February 2002.

Open in 1998 the hotel Villa Elaia carried on growing: 7 bedrooms, now 9 with one appartment. The vegetation has grown, we are putting the finishing touch to the deco under Anne’s leadership (Maia for the artists) and Pierre’s skilful hands.

Anne followed a course at Alain Ducasse Cookery School, she cooks, runs courses and training in painting, decorates the villa constantly, organises bookings….and plenty more as well.

In Pierre’s case, he is the foreman, in charge of the upkeep, as well as being the I.T specialist, the accountant…. in short jack of all trade.

In short we try to do the best we can, within our means, to assist you.

Professionals in tourism

Every day we improve our experience by keeping in touch with the professionals of the tourist industry.

Perfectly integrated within the public organisations linked to tourism (local offices of tourism, departmental committee for tourism, Chamber of Commerce and Industry), the villa Elaia is an active member of the Holiday Club of Ventoux which incorporates a dozen hotels around the prestigious Geant de Provence. We are, as well, a member of a hotel trade union.

Label “QUALITY TOURISM”

label Quality TourismIn 2009, the hotel Villa Elaia is due to receive the label “quality tourism” given by the Finance Ministry for Tourism.

We have passed the tests successfully gaining 93,2% in the criteria required.
